New employees receive their initial orientation to the agency, their program and their job within the first week of employment. Knowing what to do, how to do it and who to contact if you have a problem, is the goal of the initial orientation.

Employees receive up to 45 hours of training annually.

Employees receive recognition for going above and beyond their job responsibilities in the form of one-on-one feedback from their supervisors, “Care Cards” written by their peers and being nominated by their peers for the Gold Star Staff of the Month.

Employees are often given the opportunity to go local sports events to see teams such as the Marlins, Dolphin and Panthers play their opponents. Employees are also given the opportunity to see Plays, Musicals and Concerts free of charge.
